About the Alexander Alliance Spring Tango Event Register for Tango Event April 23 - 28, 2004 Philadelphia Upon registration, a welcome packet with directions, and suggestions for food and lodging will be sent to you. If you are coming from outside the USA, and you are concerned about a place to stay, or about airport pick-up, please call me at 215-844-0670, or better yet, email me at contact@alexanderalliance.com. I look forward to a full week of learning and dancing. Tango dancers will learn much about the Alexander Technique. And Alexander students will be introduced to Tango! How exciting!
The Schedule: We want as many people who want to join us for this event to be able to do so. So we have designed three options of study taking into consideration the limitations of time and money for everyone. Reservations required. Option I - Entire Six Day Event: $400 ($200 for TAA students) Friday & Saturday day classes: 10-11 am - The Alexander Technique: Learning to Redirect Unnecessary Tension Into Useful Energy. with Bruce Fertman 11am-1pm - Tango Master Class with Michael Ruehl 3:30-4:30pm - Alexander Class 4:30-6:30pm - Master Class Friday Night Milonga or Practica 9-12pm Saturday Night Milonga 8:30-10pm - Master Class w/ Michael Ruehl 10pm-3am - Alexander Alliance Milonga with DJ Shridhar Hannenhalli Sunday: 2-3pm - Alexander Class 3-5pm - Master Class 7:30-9:30pm - Master Class 9:30-11pm Practica Monday, Tuesday, through Wed morning: 10-11am Alexander Class 11am-1pm Master Class (Wed classes end here) 3-4pm Alexander Class 4-5:30pm Master Class 7:30-9:30pm - Master Class 9:30-11pm - Practica (end of Option I) Option II – Four Evenings of Master Class & Three Practicas: $50 for all or $25/evening includes evenings of Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues, EXCEPT optional Sat Milonga, which may be attended for $10 Option III – Full Extended Weekend Event: $150 ($100 for TAA students) includes Fri, Sat & Sun, EXCEPT optional Fri Milonga (pay your own way), and EXCEPT optional Sat Milonga, which may be attended for $10 |
