| The Alexander Alliance begins its 21st year as a community/school for the study and enjoyment of Alexander's work. Becoming a student at the Alexander Alliance/Philadelphia Program means making a clear commitment to studying over a three year period of time. |
Each year of study is comprised of six weeks of study, and five weekends of study. A study week entails five to seven days of study, at least six hours a day, except for final days, which are three hours long and end by noon. Weekend sessions entail 12 study hours. They begin on Saturdays at 1PM and conclude on Sundays at 5PM. Please look at the yearly calendar for details.
A NEW CLASS BEGINS IN SEPTEMBER Requisites for Admissions 1. A letter articulating what draws you toward the Alexander Work. Let us know of your hopes for yourself during and upon completion of your becoming an Alexander teacher. 2. A minimum of 30 hours of direct study with an Alexander teacher, and/or one week of study at the Alexander Alliance or at the Annual Summer Course. 3. An interview with Martha and Bruce Fertman. |
